Jalpaiguri, 12th October: During a press conference on Monday at BJP’s temporary office in Jalpaiguri No-4 Ghumti area, MP Jayanta Roy stated that the Darjeeling Mail and Teesta Torsa Express services are not running from Haldibari.
The MP said that the central government is working to develop the railway communication system and health infrastructure with Bangladesh through Haldibari. Besides, the infrastructure of the Jalpaiguri district hospital is also being improved.
Roy further said that although the central government is carrying out a lot of developmental work in Jalpaiguri district, opposition parties are trying to defame BJP by spreading false propaganda about Teesta Torsa and Darjeeling Mail. He affirmed that both the train services will remain functional.
