Siliguri, 08th February: The Darjeeling District Traffic Police has sensitized ambulance drivers to prevent accidents. The initiative has been taken concerning a recent ambulance accident that claimed the lives of three. Today, the drivers were made aware at Naxalbari hospital.
During this, Darjeeling District Traffic DSP Arindam Adhikary, Naxalbari Police Station OC Manas Das, Traffic OC Niren Thapa, and others were present.
In this regard, the Traffic DSP said that the ambulance drivers have been instructed to drive carefully and check the vehicles. He also appealed to keep in touch with the police for any kind of inconvenience.
