Siliguri, 29th March: The Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress provided financial assistance for Siliguri’s Durga Nagar Colony fire victims, on Sunday. The Darjeeling District TMC President Ranjan Sarkar presented the aid himself and also urged the Siliguri Municipal Corporation to support the victims.
It is to recall that, on Saturday morning, two houses were burnt to ashes after a fire broke out in Durga Nagar Colony near Siliguri’s Kumartuli. The unruly blaze also engulfed other houses of the neighborhood.
