Siliguri, 20th August: The Darjeeling District Congress Committee observed the 77th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
The party workers paid their respects by laying wreaths at the portrait of Rajiv Gandhi at the party office in Hashmi Chowk.
Jeevan Majumder, general secretary of Darjeeling district Congress, said that the day is being observed through various ceremonies.
