Siliguri, 19th May: The Darjeeling District Chess Association successfully organized the 38th Chess Championship at a private school near Don Bosco More in Siliguri.
Reportedly, a total of 200 players actively participated in the championship across various age categories including under 7, under 9, under 11, under 13, under 15, and open department games. Winners and runners-up from each group will be representing the Darjeeling district in upcoming championships.
In this regard, Bablu Talukdar, Secretary of the Darjeeling District Chess Association, expressed immense satisfaction in organizing such a prestigious event every year.
