Dabgram-Fulbari MLA Sikha Chatterjee launches ‘Bharosa’ app for digital grievance redressal

Siliguri, 06th July: An app named ‘Bharosa’ has been launched with the aim of resolving daily problems of common people in a faster and more efficient manner. The app was inaugurated on Sunday by Dabgram-Fulbari MLA Sikha Chatterjee.

It has been designed to allow citizens to register complaints from home and access necessary services through a digital platform. Officials stated that people will no longer need to visit administrative offices physically, as grievances can now be submitted directly through smartphones.

Officials present at the launch event said the app has been developed by a technology company to ensure ease of use for the general public. Along with complaint registration, it also provides access to emergency services, contact information, and live location sharing features.

MLA Sikha Chatterjee said the initiative aims to ensure quicker resolution of public grievances by using technology effectively. She added that special emphasis has been placed on women’s safety, with an emergency “alert” feature included in the app to ensure rapid assistance during critical situations.
