Rajganj, 18th December: The bridge across the Karatoya River leading to Gajoldoba developed a crack which halted the movement of vehicles on the bridge.
Reportedly, way leading from Fulbari to Gajoldoba, a beam of the bridge over the Karatoya river in the Simulguri adjoining area near Teesta Barrage developed a crack. After this, traffic from the Sahudangi railway overbridge was stopped by the administration.
According to administrative sources, the condition of the bridge is quite dangerous to ply or commute as the beam has developed a crack. It is being told that the traffic will be kept closed till the repairs are done.
