CPIM-Congress leaders hold workers meeting in Rajganj

Rajganj, 25th March: Left Front state chairman Biman Basu and Congress MP Pradeep Bhattacharya held a workers’ meeting at Rajganj’s Dharamsala. The meeting was held in support of Ratan Roy, the CPI(M) candidate of the Sanjukta Morcha.

In today’s meeting, Biman Basu took a jibe at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and stated that the party is run by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He went on to allege that BJP aims to create religious division among the people. He added that the Trinamool Congress has also been formed as per the advice of RSS. Hence, the CPI(M)-Congress-ISF’s fight is against the two ‘communal forces’. He urged all to vote for Rajganj Assembly candidate Ratan Roy and make him win by several votes.

The meeting was attended by Rajganj Assembly candidate Ratan Roy, CPI(M) Jalpaiguri district secretary Salil Acharya, Provincial Congress Committee member Nirmal Ghosh Dastidar, Congress Rajganj Block President Debabrata Nag, and many others.
