CPI (M) spreading chaos in the name of Uttar Kanya Abhiyan: Ranjan Sarkar

Siliguri, 13th February: The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) cadres launched the Uttar Kanya Abhiyan against various policies of the Central and State Government, on Wednesday.


However, the Police tried to stop the procession from reaching Uttar Kanya by placing barricades at the Tinbatti More. To bring the situation under control, the Police launched water cannons at the protesters.

At a press conference, on Thursday, the District Trinamool Congress President and opposition leader of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation Ranjan Sarkar stated that the CPI (M) is spreading chaos in the name of Uttarkanya Abhiyan in a planned manner. Ranjan Sarkar requested the people to take immediate steps against such chaos. He further stated that the trade license process will be simplified.
