Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Tuesday stated that the total number of COVID-19 positive cases in India has risen to 46,711. This includes 31,967 active cases, 1,583 deaths, 13,160 cured/discharged and 1 migrated.
Meanwhile, Alapan Bandyopadhyay, West Bengal Home Secretary, stated that 85 new COVID-19 positive cases have been reported in the state today making the total positive cases as 1344. 7 deaths have been reported today taking the number of deaths to 68. Total active cases stand at 940 in the state.
