According to the latest data released by the Union Ministry of Health, the total COVID-19 cases in India have crossed the 42,000-mark with current numbers at 42, 836 while 11,762 have been cured of the virus.
Meanwhile, in West Bengal, the total number of positive cases escalated to 1259 while 218 have been cured. The state has confirmed 61 deaths due to COVID-19 to date.
