According to the latest data released by the Union Ministry of Health, the total COVID-19 cases in India have crossed the 29,000-mark with current numbers at 29, 974 while 7027 have been cured of the virus.
Meanwhile, in West Bengal, the total number of positive cases escalated to 522 while 119 have been cured.
The state has confirmed 22 deaths due to COVID-19 to date.
