Cooch Behar, 09th June: Sensation prevailed in the area after the discovery of the bodies of a couple in the Ranirhat area under the Mekliganj Assembly Constituency of Cooch Behar. The deceased have been identified as Rajkumar Harijan (36) and Manju Harijan.
According to reports, this morning, upon being called by the family members, there was no response from the couple. Subsequently, they broke open the door and discovered the couple laying lifeless on the floor.
After the shocking discovery, the matter was informed to Mekliganj police. Upon receiving the news, police reached the spot and recovered the bodies, and sent for autopsy. Meanwhile, Mekliganj police are investigating the entire incident.
