Coronavirus scare: Two women under home quarantine in Siliguri

Siliguri, 19th March: Two women, who returned from abroad two days ago, have been kept under home quarantine amidst the coronavirus outbreak.


It has been reported that the locals alleged that the two women, residents of Ward No 19, entered their house without being examined and feared that the two women might have been infected by the novel coronavirus.

In this regard, the Councillor of Ward No 19 informed the Health Department of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation, today. Upon receiving the news, the Doctors and officials of the Health Department arrived at the women’s house.


However, the women stated that they were examined and will be staying at home for the next 14 days. They further stated that they will get their health check-ups done regularly.
