Nagarakata, 21st March: Alipurduar MP John Barla stepped up to raise awareness among the tea workers regarding the coronavirus. The MP raised awareness among the workers through miking in the Lakhipara Tea Garden under Nagrakata assembly constituency, on Saturday.
The MP supported the Janata Curfew called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He further stated that there was no reason to fear the coronavirus and added that if we stay alert then we can fight the coronavirus. He also requested the people, coming from other states, to get their health examined. Awareness was raised regarding coronavirus in the Looksan Gram Panchayat through miking on behalf of the Tribal society. Awareness was also raised among the people regarding the coronavirus through programmes in various places.\
