Kurseong, 22nd March: The people of the Hills have fully supported the Janta Curfew as all shops in Kurseong and Sonada town has been completely shut down. Scares in number, some people were seen walking towards the newspaper stall.
On of the newspaper hawker stated that he only opened the stall as they had received directions to deliver the newspapers to the general public. Since only a few people were coming to buy the papers, he stated that he would open his shop till 10 am.
According to the report, the Toy Train services have also been canceled and the daily 7 am train ride from Kurseong to Darjeeling was suspended.
