Siliguri, 29th November: In a month’s time, the PWD has completed the construction of Bailey Bridge over the Balasan river in Matigara. The trial run was also successfully completed on Saturday.
After the completion of Bailey Bridge, construction work of an alternative weather bridge has started. It has been learned that a total of 67 hume pipes are being used in the construction of the Weather Bridge.
