Naxalbari, 15th January: A deadly collision between a scooty and a bike claimed the life of the scooty rider while injured the other.
The incident surfaced from Schooldangi More of Naxalbari. The deceased has been identified as Gopal Tudu (85), a retired teacher. Reportedly, Gopal Tudu was returning home from the market today when a speeding bike hit him on the state highway of Naxalbari’s Bhogilram Jote. After this, the locals rescued Gopal and took him to Naxalbari Hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead.
On the other hand, the bike motorist has also been injured in the incident. Meanwhile, the dead body has been sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for postmortem after which the police started investigating the entire incident.
