Siliguri, 16th April: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee led a rally in support of Trinamool Congress candidate Gopal Lama at the Darjeeling Lok Sabha constituency in Siliguri. Reportedly, the rally witnessed significant public participation.
As per details received, on Tuesday afternoon, the Chief Minister began the rally from Airview More in Siliguri, accompanied by candidate Gopal Lama. The procession concluded at the Baghajatin Park in Siliguri, after circumambulating Sevoke More and Hashmi Chowk (Venus More). During this, Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb and other Trinamool leaders were present.
At the end of the rally, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee joined various community members in dancing to the beat of the drums at Baghajatin Park. She then addressed the gathering, expressing her thoughts and vision for the region.
