Siliguri, 14th October: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee conducted a virtual inauguration of several Durga Puja pandals in Siliguri as well as other districts of North Bengal.
The CM inaugurated the big-budget pujas namely Central Colony, Subrata Sangha, Dadabhai Club, and many others. Minister Goutam Deb was present at Central Colony during the inauguration following which he visited various puja pandals. Deb then handed over state government grants to several clubs.
He also urged the common people to follow all safety measures during the festive days.
