CM Mamata Banerjee announced over 1.25 lakh jobs in the state

West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, has made a significant announcement ahead of the upcoming panchayat polls in the state, aiming to provide substantial benefits to the unemployed population. The State’s CM has announced over 1 lakh jobs in this regard.


It is reported that a total of 1 lakh 25 thousand jobs will be created, with 11,000 teachers being appointed in primary schools and 14,500 in upper primary schools. Additionally, there will be recruitment for Group D posts, Anganwadi positions, 2000 doctors, 7000 nurses, and various vacancies in the Police and other government departments. According to the CM, the recruitment process will commence within two months and is expected to be completed within the next year.
