The programme was initiated by the Students for Development unit of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), with volunteers launching a campus-wide cleanliness campaign from the morning.

As part of the drive, students participated in cleaning various roads and areas across the university campus. Plastic bottles, packets and other waste materials were also collected and removed from the premises.

According to ABVP representatives, the initiative was undertaken with the objective of promoting a plastic-free campus and raising awareness about environmental responsibility.

Students were also encouraged not to litter and to use designated dustbins for waste disposal in order to help maintain a clean and healthy environment.

The organisers said the campaign was aimed at spreading awareness about cleanliness and environmental conservation among students and the wider university community.
