Siliguri, 05th January: During the civic convention held at the Siliguri Indoor Stadium, Siliguri’s Mayor Ashok Bhattacharya stated that in a Republic country, the voice of the public matters and the public’s development holds the primary positions.
The civic convention was held at the Indoor Stadium in Siliguri under the joint aegis of the Ward No. 29 Committee and the Cleanliness Department. The Ward No. 29 Councilor Sharadindu Chakraborty, Deputy Mayor Rambhajan Mahato, and Mayor Ashok Bhattacharya were present during the event.
Through this program, Councilor Sharadindu Chakraborty provided Khatiyans for the various works of the ward. Dustbins were provided to everyone by Mayor Ashok Bhattacharya to keep the ward clean.
