Alipurduar, 04th November: Sensation ensued in the area of Mahakalguri area under Shamuktala police station of Alipurduar district when a game for a child turned into a nightmare of death. An eight-year-old child lost his life while playing at home. The noose of the cloth swing got stuck in the neck of the child, resulting in his death.
Reportedly, in the verandah of his maternal uncle’s house in Uttar Mahakalguri, the said eight-year-old was swinging in a swing cloth that suddenly stuck around his neck like a noose. On finding the child in an unconscious state the family members rushed him to the primary health center, where the doctors declared him brought dead.
The incident of the eight-year-old has left the area in mourning. Samuktala police have started an investigation after recovering the body.
