Mirik, 21st November: Devotees took part in Chhath Puja rituals today, with much zeal and enthusiasm, on the last day of the festival in Mirik. They were spotted offering prayers to the Sun God at the Chhath Ghat set up on the banks of Mirik Lake.
Chhath Puja is celebrated six days after Diwali. This four-day long annual festival is dedicated to the Sun God. Chhath Puja concludes today with prayers to the rising Sun.
