Cooch Behar, 17th January: As per the instructions of the Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, cheques were distributed to the farmers in the Maruganj zone of the Tufanganj-1 block, under the Krishak Bandhu scheme, today. Rabindra Nath Ghosh, the Minister of North Bengal Development Department, handed over the above cheques to 1364 farmers.
