Naxalbari, 29th March: Chairman of Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad, Arun Ghosh reached the Maniram area of Naxalbari as ‘Didi’r Doot’ during the Didir Suraksha Kavach program, where he listened to the grievances and complaints of the villagers. The villagers complained to the Chairman about not getting the ‘Jai Johar’ project.
The Chairman reached the residence of GTA Bishwakarma Board in the Jabra area where he also listened to the complaints of the residents. Following this, the Chairman spoke to the GTA Sabhashad on the phone and then left for Belgachi Hindi High School. He assured to solve the problems in the area including the need for a proper health centre to the higher officials of the party. Besides this, Arun Ghosh offered prayers at the church at Mir Jangla and later offered prayers at the Santoshi Mata Temple.
