Bagdogra, 01st February: An 11-member central delegation landed at the Bagdogra airport from Kolkata on Wednesday to conduct a review of the mid-day meal scheme in schools.
According to the information, the team will visit various schools and ICDS centres in Darjeeling and Jalpaiguri districts to check the mid-day meal being served to the children. Reportedly, the members of the delegation have divided into two groups. Each will visit and review the two districts respectively. They will remain in both districts till February 03.
After arriving at the airport, the team visited Subhamaya Suryanarayan Hindi High School of Bagdogra. Apart from talking to the parents and students regarding mid-day meals, they sought information regarding the academic facilities at the school.
