Rajganj, 06th May: The recovery of two vulture carcasses from the Bandhunagar area of Rajganj Block created a stir in the area.
According to sources, few vultures were sighted feeding on a carcass of a cow, this afternoon. The locals informed that the birds were unfortunately electrocuted to death during that time.
Upon receiving the news, the forest workers reached the spot and recovered the bodies of the vultures.
It has been learned that 13 carcasses of a rare species of vulture were recovered from the Saheb Bari Village area under the Majhiyali Gram Panchayat, several days ago.
