Cooch Behar, 02nd March: A campaign was launched at the Mathabhanga market against adulterated milk. The Mathabhanga Sub-divisional Officer, Jitin Yadav, and the Officer of the Food Department, Paromita Gogoi, inspected the Mathabhanga milk market on Monday evening.
During the inspection, adulterated milk was recovered from a trader, who was then taken to the Sub-divisional Office for interrogation. The Officer of the Food Department, Paromita Gogoi, stated that the issue of adulterated milk at the Mathabhanga market was being raised for several days. Hence, a campaign was launched, in this context. Gogoi further stated that the campaign will be launched continuously.
