Jalpaiguri, 28th September: A bus conductor lost his life after a passenger bus overturned today in the Rakhaldevi area in Jalpaiguri Haldibari highway. Several passengers were injured in the incident.
According to sources, the accident occurred due to the poor condition of the roads.
Meanwhile, the agitated locals staged a road blockade demanding repair of roads. Upon receiving the news, the Police reached the spot and brought the situation under control. The injured individuals have been taken to Jalpaiguri Super Specialty Hospital for treatment.
