Rajganj, 19th October: Thieves targeted an empty residence in Gathmabari of Fulbari. Reportedly, on Tuesday, Sukumar Roy, a resident of the said area, along with his entire family went to attend the funeral of his father-in-law. On returning home this morning, he realized that they have been looted.
After the incident, he informed the police of the burglary. On receiving the news, NJP police reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident. Sukumar Roy reported that thieves broke into his house and stole gold jewelry from the cupboard and also goods worth lakhs of rupees.
