Buddha Jayanti celebrated with grandeur at Buddhist monastery in Toribari near Siliguri

Siliguri, 01st May: Buddha Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm at a Buddhist monastery in Toribari, Salugara area near Siliguri. A large number of devotees gathered at the monastery to take part in the celebrations.

From the morning, prayers were conducted at the monastery, followed by recitation of the Tripitaka and various religious rituals that continued throughout the day.

According to Buddhist devotees, Buddha Jayanti is not only a religious festival but also carries the message of humanity, peace, and harmony. Every year, thousands of people participate in prayers at the monastery on this occasion, reflecting deep spiritual devotion.
