The workers in Siliguri too are on strike in front of the BSNL office for the last 12 days demanding the payment of their salary of 16 months.

The workers alleged that despite repeatedly informing the management regarding the same, their problems were not solved. Hence, they had no other option than to go on a strike from November 01.
