Balurghat, 05th January: BSF’s 199th battalion seized a large amount of Phensedyl from Lalpur area. However, no arrest has been made in connection with this incident.
Acting on a tip-off, late Saturday night, the BSF personnel seized 2,000 bottles of Phensedyl before it could be smuggled into Bangladesh. The price of the seized Phensedyl has been stated as Rs. 3,08,540.
