Siliguri, 04th July: It becomes challenging for a mother to breastfeed her babies in public places, particularly while on the roads. In order to address this serious issue, the Inner Wheel Club of Siliguri Uttorayon Aura, a voluntary organization, has taken a commendable initiative. In collaboration with the Siliguri Metropolitan Police, they recently inaugurated a breastfeeding kiosk or lactation room at Jalpaimore, Siliguri.
According to reports, the newly inaugurated facility will provide a comfortable space for mothers to breastfeed their infants. The event was honoured by the presence of the Commissioner of Siliguri Police, Akhilesh Kumar Chaturvedi, along with other police officials and members of the organization.
