Cooch Behar, 21st March: Stir ensued in the area after bomb-making equipment was recovered from Kharija Falimari AP Primary School under Dinhata Ukrabari Gram Panchayat.
Reportedly, on Tuesday morning the students found bomb-making equipment in the verandah of the school house. After this, the teachers informed the police. As soon as the news was received, the Dinhata police reached the spot and recovered the bomb-making equipment. School headmaster Krishna Kamal Barman said on arriving at school he learned about the equipment that was found on the school premises. After hearing this he and other teachers rushed to see it. After this, they informed the police and worried about the incident.
Meanwhile, a TMC booth conference was held today in the area near the said school. Ukrabari Zone Trinamool Congress President Suzhan Ali alleged that some miscreants and anti-social elements did this to sabotage the party’s convention.
On the other hand, BJP’s Cooch Behar district president Sukumar Roy took a jibe against the TMC after recovering bomb-making equipment.
