Siliguri, 11th February: Sensation prevailed after the body of a first-year student was found hanging from the noose inside the washroom of the nursing hostel of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. The deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Mitali Barman, a resident of Dakshin Dinajpur district.
As per the report, Mitali had recently lost her mother and had been quite disturbed ever since. Police of NBMCH Out Post reached the spot and recovered the body this morning. The police are investigating the incident.
