Siliguri, 05th September: Sensation prevailed in the Fuleswari Bazaar area of Siliguri after the lifeless body of a local resident was found. The deceased has been identified as Sameer Das (32) of Debashish Colony under Ward No. 24.
On Monday night, the locals stumbled upon Sameer’s lifeless body lying on Fuleswari Bridge. Alarmed by the sight, they promptly alerted the Siliguri police station. The deceased’s body was retrieved and transported to the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital, where a post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death. However, preliminary suspicions point toward excessive drinking and underlying health issues as potential factors in Sameer’s demise.
