Islampur, 27th September: The body of a person was recovered from a reservoir in Uttar Dinajpur Tea Factory More area under Chopra police station. The deceased has been identified as Palash Adhikari.
He is reported to have been an elementary school teacher. According to sources, the local people saw the dead body in a reservoir located behind a house in the area.
Upon receiving the news of the incident, Chopra police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Islampur Hospital for post-mortem. Police are investigating the entire incident.
