Naxalbari, 17th March: Stir ensued in the area after the dead body of a newborn was recovered from a sack abandoned in the roadside bushes. The horrific incident surfaced from Stationpara’s Prem Nagar in Naxalbari.
Reportedly, today the locals found the body and informed the Naxalbari police. As soon as the news was received, the police reached the spot and recovered the body of the newborn, and sent it to Naxalbari Rural Hospital.
Later the body was sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for postmortem. The Naxalbari police have started investigating the entire incident.
