Cooch Behar, 12th June: Sensation prevailed in the area after the body of a 1st-year medical student of MJN Medical College in Cooch Behar was found hanging from the noose. The deceased has been identified as Snigdha Kundu (24), a resident of Purba Bardhaman.
According to police sources, the body of the deceased was discovered hanging from the noose in the study room on Monday morning. Upon receiving the news, police reached the spot and recovered the body of the deceased. In this regard, police sources indicated suicide, based on preliminary investigations. Meanwhile, police are engaged in investigating the entire incident.
