Cooch Behar, 01st August: Sensation prevailed after a body of a man was recovered from Kesharhat enclosed area under Jamaldaha Gram Panchayat of Mekhliganj block.
The deceased has been identified as Shailene Barman, a resident of Kesharhat Shiv Mandir area.
As per the report, on Saturday morning, the locals noticed the body of Barman lying in a paddy field and immediately informed the police regarding the incident.
As soon as the news was received, police reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it for postmortem. An investigation has been launched into the entire matter.
