Siliguri, 18th February: Sensation prevailed in the area after the hanging body of a Higher Secondary examinee was recovered in Siliguri. The deceased Babin Pal, a resident of Bagrakote, was a student of Siliguri Netaji High School.
According to reports, on Sunday morning, the family members found his lifeless body hanging from the noose. Additionally, the youth was found dead with his handset and his earphones plugged into his ears.
Family sources revealed that the youth could not qualify the exam for the past two years and was attempting it for the third time. Meanwhile, upon receiving the news, the officials of the Siliguri police station arrived at the spot, recovered the body, and initiated an investigation into the incident.
