Siliguri, 17th December: A tragic incident surfaced where a deceased body was found hanging from the noose in an abandoned quarter located in the Ambika Nagar area of Ghat Para, New Jalpaiguri (NJP). The deceased has been identified as Ganesh Biswas (28), a resident of the said area.
According to reports, on Sunday morning, the locals spotted the lifeless body of the man hanging from the noose. Following this, the police were promptly informed about the incident.
Upon receiving the news, the NJP police arrived at the spot, recovered the body and transported it for post-mortem examination. At present, the entire incident is under further investigation.
