Birpara, 17th March: A dead body was found hanging from a noose in Section No. 16 of the Dumpha Line. The deceased has been identified as Ratan Mahali (55), a resident of the Dumchipara Tea Garden.
According to sources, the workers sighted the dead body hanging from a noose, today morning. The police were soon informed about the incident. Upon receiving the news, the police reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it for an autopsy. The police are investigating the entire incident.
