Siliguri, 22nd January: A blood donation camp was organized on the second death anniversary of Siliguri photojournalist late Biswaroop Basak.
The said blood donation camp was organized today under the aegis of the Kachari Road Yubak Sangha. Social worker and club president Madan Bhattacharya was present in the blood donation camp. Several people donated blood at the said camp.
It is to be noted, that photojournalist Biswaroop Basak was killed two years ago after being hit by a train at the Ambari railway gate adjacent to Siliguri. Thus, a blood donation camp was organized in his memory.
