Siliguri, 26th January: The NJP Railway Hospital More Toto Stand Committee distributed blankets to the underprivileged on the occasion of the 75th Republic Day. The initiative was undertaken to provide relief amid the freezing winter.
Reportedly, on Friday, the Committee’s Secretary Mangal Saha, Liton Saha, Executive Committee Member Bappa Chaudhary, and others handed over the blankets to 50 people. Significantly, self-defence techniques were also showcased during the event. In addition, ‘Khichdi’ was also distributed.
