BJYM submit 4-point memorandum to Siliguri District Hospital Superintendent

Siliguri, 21st December: The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha submitted a 4-point memorandum to the superintendent of Siliguri District Hospital.


The move comes after the body of a patient was found hanging from a noose inside the restroom of Siliguri District Hospital, on Tuesday morning. The BJYM leaders demanded proper investigation into the death of the patient and that appropriate action should be taken if any negligence is revealed behind the incident. They further demanded the security measures be strengthened at the hospital to avoid such incidents from repeating in future. They handed over a memorandum to Assistant Superintendent Amit Dutta as the Super was absent.

“It is very unfortunate that there is not enough staff in any department of the hospital,” Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Siliguri organizational district president Kanchan Debnath said while addressing the media.
