BJP’s Fact Finding Team arrived at Cooch Behar to investigate polls violence

Cooch Behar, 14th July: The Fact-Finding Team of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) arrived in Cooch Behar to meet the families affected by the violence during the 2023 Panchayat Polls. The delegation, consisting of five members, including former Minister and Member of Parliament (MP) Ravi Shankar Prasad, reached Cooch Behar Railway Station on Friday morning. Party leaders from the district warmly welcomed the delegation.


As per reports, the delegates will visit the residence of Madhav Biswas, who allegedly lost his life during the elections in Falimari of the Dakshin Cooch Behar Assembly Constituency, and hold discussions with his family.

Speaking to the media at the Railway Station, Ravi Shankar Prasad criticized the state government and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for the violence that occurred during the Panchayat elections.
